There are many providers offering us help to get through life and I wasn’t sure what to expect.  This has been the best 6 weeks.  I have looked forward to every session and have come away wiht a greater insight into myself and my difficult responses.  The tools that I now have to respond positively, and nurture myself are easy to learn and incorporate into daily life.  I am very grateful to have had the chance to experience and learn and would thoroughly recommend the course to anyone.

It was with a great deal of scepticism and caution that I agreed to do this course with Diane. I was however, determined to go in with a completely open mind as what do I know in the grand scheme of things and I had nothing to lose if it worked (other than a few excess pounds). I had for a number of years been dealing with an incredible amount of stress, over and above your everyday stresses (which are sufficient for any person to cope with) and while I worked hard at trying to reduce and eliminate that stress I just couldn’t quite get over the edge of letting it all go so I could move forward with some peace and happiness at life. 
 
As far as courses go it was easy, I just had to listen, take in some sensible pragmatic ideas, I didn’t have to explain my past and dredge up any number of painful experiences, I got to sit looking out at the most beautiful landscape and just be for 90 minutes every week while Diane did her magic. I did have to participate in some “meditation” (which was a bit like tree hugging for me) but it worked! I don’t know why, I don’t even want to know why, it just did. I’m now converted and every opportunity I get, I recommend anyone to give it a go.
 
I can honestly say it has been decades since I have felt this calm, peaceful, relaxed and free. I have tools, very easy ones, to bring me back to this state if I need to, my mind is no longer racing off on some wild tangent that I can’t control, I can make basic practical decisions again without fearing the consequences and I have Diane to thank. I whole heartedly recommend anyone that is looking for that magic fix to give this a go. It’s a wonderful experience.

I loved how practical the course was.

The tools that we were taught were practical and easily included into ones daily routine. It's such a unique course.  It is small,  personal and caters for each individual. The lack of judgement/ open and accepting environment is refreshing.

I came to this course because I realised how stress can be so real in my life.  I couldn’t always understand why I felt the stress or anxiousness I did, so I thought this course may help in that way to give me a better understanding.  It has really opened my mind up to so many things, and been a really gentle experience and so practical in lots of ways too.  The course has been extremely informative, and now I have been given great tools.  I already feel that this course is the beginning a of better lifestyle.

Diane’s Mind Body Soul Course:  Practical Application for reducing Stress, was worth every minute of time and dollars spent.  Like many other ladies, I have a busy job, three children, and a husband who also works long hours.  I knew I was the exact type of person who would gain so much from the course Diane was offering, but was unsure how I would even fit in into my week.  I made it a priority and was so grateful I did.  Diane has organised a fabulous, heart-felt course.   The techniques, tools and words of wisdom she taught me have helped significantly with my day to day life of being a busy working mum.  I have pages of beautifully organised notes to refer back to and I am extremely grateful for Diane for organising such a fabulous course available right here in Havelock!!  I would highly recommend the course to anyone who feels the business of their life has taken over and to anyone wanting to live the best life they can while still keeping up with those day to day commitments and chores!

I came on this course because I suffer from terrible nervousness and anxiety in my normal day to day life.  I have a fear of letting people down and am generally very self-conscious.
I am so pleased I completed this course.  I feel the past 6 weeks have taught me how to control my feelings, using the techniques we have learned and I can go away knowing that I can put it all into practice and work on making my own situation better.

I can’t thank Diane enough.  She provided a very relaxing experience and made me realize that I am not alone.

I have recently attended a program of Mind,Body and Soul Awareness.It was taken by Diane Stride and set in an idyllic spot in the Tuki Tuki valley.The program was a practical application for reducing stress and increasing awareness of the present.I have been aware of the effects of stress and anxiety on my health for years and this program was a great opportunity to explore new insights of myself and use the practical tools given to us to respond to situations that have caused stress in the past.The program was very relaxed and Diane produced follow up notes which i have found great to revisit. I thoroughly enjoyed the program and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to reduce stress and live a more fulfilling life.
